Vinay Govindji, DDS

Dr. Govindji was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya.  He graduated from the University of Birmingham in Birmingham, England in 1995 and subsequently practiced general dentistry in the United Kingdom for 2 years.  After obtaining licensure in California in 1998, he moved to Bakersfield, CA and has practiced dentistry in Bakersfield for the past 5 years.  Dr. Govindji dedicated three years to a pediatric dental practice and one year of general dentistry to a non-profit organization here in Kern County.  Since May 2002, he has directed all his efforts into establishing a quality and affordable dental practice at 19th Street Dental that caters to all walks of life.

Outside the office, Dr. Govindji enjoys spending time with his wife Sneha & sons Mayur & Harsh.  He actively pursues continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, periodontal, oral surgery and more to further develop and enhance his skills and knowledge to better serve his patients with the most current treatment options available.
